Speech and Language Therapy, provides a full range of services for children with speech, language and oral-motor disorders. These include initial screenings, parent consultations, comprehensive evaluations, scheduled individual therapy sessions and collaboration with schools, physicians, and other paraprofessionals.

A thorough evaluation is a process that confirms the proper diagnosis and helps to decide the best route of intervention. Each is personalized and an in depth process of gathering the necessary information that includes an interview of the patient and/ or the caregiver, formal and informal testing, sharing the results and interpretation of the evaluation that will include the diagnosis data, a treatment plan of care, and any further recommendations needed.

Speech and Language therapists are trained in state of the art speech and language services and are able to create an individual plan of treatment for each child/family that they serve. In our friendly, playful environment, we offer comprehensive speech and language assessments which are undertaken to determine whether or not communication skills are developing normally, and whether or not professional intervention is warranted.

If it is determined, either through an assessment that a child will benefit from speech and language intervention, we have a variety of techniques at hand. often, our therapists select a variety of strategies that will most benefit your child. The result is an effective and individualized method for each child.
